CAST is an independent, employee-owned company of world-class athletes, engineers, and designers united by a shared love for gravity biking. Designed by CAST and engineered by Pirelli these tyres are built to perform at the highest level. Working with best-in-class industry partners like Pirelli, CAST combine cutting-edge tech with rider insight to raise the bar for mountain bike products.

The Antagonist, a DH/ENDURO tyre is designed for maximum cornering confidence and predictability. The Antagonist is fast rolling and provides consistent support during aggressive lean angles. Tightly stacked central knobs with exposed lateral edges ensure a positive braking bite when the rider needs to shed excess speed. With a large footprint for exceptional grip and braking, the Antagonist is highly confidence-inspiring tyre for an aggressive riding style, while offering generous rolling speed in dry and mixed conditions over a variety of terrain.

Supportive intermediate and side knobs provide consistent support and feeling throughout cornering, during multiple lean angles. A confidence inspiring strong braking bite is created by a series of tightly stacked lateral edges on the central tread blocks. Smart Evo DH is the most advanced Pirelli compound for gravity applications: developed with motorsport expertise and materials, this formulation maximizes grip, damping and predictability.

DualWall Enduro/DH Carcass: 2-ply 120 tpi. TLR. Suitable for Enduro/DH Full 2-ply construction with rubber inserts for improved sidewall protection 120tpi nylon base promotes rolling efficiency whilst retaining a supple feel.

Riding characteristics:

• The Antagonist offers a high level of Mechanical and Chemical grip. DualWall casing offers maximum protection and damping characteristics for an aggressive riding style
• The Antagonist DualWall compared to the Protagonist DualWall offers the same increased protection and damping characteristics, in a faster rolling package with added cornering confidence
